The Marco Island real estate sales volume cooled off in Q4 2015 as compared to a very active Q4 2014. Although after all the fuss, it was only down about 4% year over year. The average sales price was up about the same amount. The one thing that stayed consistent was the lack of inventory from last year. The good news is that the buyers are still there and buying. December marked our group highest sales volume and total sales. We have seen an increased volume of traffic and inquiries on our websites. We are also seeing the usual influx of pre-season properties coming on the market which will most assuredly ramp the sales up again. Time will tell where we go from here.
