Every member of our team has been affected by Alzheimer’s disease in some manner. This year, we have named our fundraiser in tribute to one of our own’s father, John, who passed away 3 years ago with this disease. We are honored to walk and raise money through his legacy, in hopes to reclaim the future for millions in search of care and support during their fight. Visit our team page at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Currently, more than 5.4 million Americans have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to triple to 16 million by 2050. Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the US, more than Breast and Prostate Cancer combined. Over $236 billion has been spent to care for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementias in 2016. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
We need your support to do our part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer’s Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining the movement! The end of Alzheimer’s disease starts with you.
